THE TALK It is one week before Mallorys first day of high school at a new school in Texas with new people in a different environment than before. Mallorys mom Emma decides that it was time to have "the talk" with her 14 year old daughter before her first day of high school. It is every moms worse nightmare for her daughter to come home saying she has an STI or that she might be pregnant so Emma decide it was the best for both of them. If I was Emma I would take Mallory into her room and decide to have an open conversation with her about anything she wanted to know, talk more about what she does know, and what she should know so that in any situation she is prepared. I would also make sure to be honest with Mallory so that she can feel comfortable to ask me questions without feeling like she is talking to her mom which means Emma needs to be prepared for anything Mallory might say.
